In the previous Bitcoin Donations blog episode I have written about my new goal to donate some of my Bitcoin (3,000 millibits to be exact) to the charity organizations listed on Bitcoins For Charity. In that episode, I have already donated to one of the organizations, Free Software Foundation. 5 organizations to go!
Today, I have decided to donate to the non-profit charity called Amani Kinderdorf. It is an organization that attempts to build communities for children in Africa. Although the organization is originally from Germany, it targets for development of children’s independence in struggling African neighborhoods. To achieve this target, Amani Kinderdorf has allegedly already helped build communities in the Tanzanian villages of Kilolo and Kitwiru. The communities provide development towards reaching support, shelter, and security for the needy children. The children are further allegedly associated and taken care by the efforts of Amani Kinderdorf until they finish school or any type of vocational training.
It has been a great privilege for me to give to this organization. It is truly nice that the Amani Kinderdorf charity accepts Bitcoin contributions, as it allows owners of this cryptocurency to financially support African communities using their good acts of kindness to Africa! Today’s donation to Africa teaches that we should try to help as many people in as many parts of the world as possible.
