Today’s episode, as usual these days, goes to a request from a Reddit’s dogecoinbeg subthread, to a requestor who is allegedly new to cryptocurrencies. Based on the requestor’s message, “dogecoin seemed to have a pretty nice community”. What was emphasized in the message is the wording “seemed to have”. It is no doubt that Dogecoin did have a very strong, nice, and exciting community back in its peak in 2014-s. Now, off course the community is diminishing (for now) in its size and popularity. Yet, this recent posted photograph of a Halloween costume, posted just a day after Halloween 2017, shows that Dogecoin is still long way off from being abandoned. This photograph, off course, is only relevant if taken this year instead of the peak-years of Dogecoin few years prior.
Anyways, it has been nice to view that the recent dogecoinbeg thread featured in this episode already has someone donating Dogecoin to the requestor through the “sodogetip” feature. This is good thing that there are others likewise concerned of helping out those new to cryptocurrencies. Yet, we should not be to excited, as over time other newer posts in the subthread would be published, and this post would be forgotten.
As there is no time to lose, I decided to donate to this individual who is new to cryptocurrencies ASAP. After waiting for my wallet to sync, I immediately donated the usual 300 Doge as soon as possible, before I forget and before the wallet runs out of sync once again. Yes, 300 Doge is not much. But, as was said by someone in another unrelated Dogecoin post, in imagining of “the good that we could do if the price of dogecoin were higher….”. So, if each Dogecoin today was worth $1,000, and I have donated 300 Dogecoin to the same requestor, then I would have surely given the requestor an awesome start in cryptocurrencies!
