I have figured out that a vast quantity of my Dogecoin donations went out to websites, blogs, and organizations there were most active several years ago (in 2014 and 2015) and now are not filled with any new updated material. This might be because contemporary usage of Dogecoin as a cryptocurrency payment method has significantly decreased in usage and popularity. Yet, at least it is calming to apprehend that there are various ways to donate DOGE, as the 2014s and 2015s saw soaring numbers of online places that have accepted Dogecoin donations. Because cryptocurrencies are so unpredictable these days, there is no reason why not to predict that some day all of these nearly-forgotten coins would obtain a drastic rise in awareness and public acknowledgement once again.
This time’s donation I have decided to give to a blog, Contact Whtittaker, that was most active in 2013 and 2014. I was especially excited with the blogger’s post that samples photographs of various adorable small animals, like the ones you could find on the above image. It is seen by this Doge transaction, that I have been the only one to donate to the blogger’s DOGE address so far. This might be due to that fact that the blog has not gained any noteworthy popularity, or other Doge enthusiasts did not find the address to donate to. I was fortunate enough to find the address, where the blogger has requested donations. The requesting address was on the upper right side of the page “The Drift“.
I view it to be a great idea to donate to alike bloggers. So many websites that feature random blogging material get absolutely zero pay for their work in sharing the content they desire to have in their sites. This is why over time many of such blogs cease to exist, as the bloggers determine that there is no more reason to run their site. But, the use of cryptocurrencies could revolutionize the ease of donating to blogs and other websites that have either original or shared content. This way, such online reference sources (blogs, news media, etc.) would continue their existence as the writers would have incentives to continue adding new material, as they would feel greater worth and appreciation from their audience.
