After a short break from Dogecoin donations, I would now like to officially start a new episode-themed blog where I would discuss my journey of Bitcoin Donations. It would follow a similar path to the donation blog in which I have written a short information about the organization I have donated to, and my reasoning behind the importance of charity. Like Dogecoin donations, by my charitable giving Bitcoin to any specific entity does not signify my position (support or opposition) to that particular organization. I am just intending to donate to as many organizations with some of the Bitcoin that I have. I choose these organizations merely accidentally, with a feeling that my blog would inspire others to charitably redistribute their cryptocurrencies as well.
The organization that was the first to receive the Bitcoin donation from me was ShorelineUU. I have provided donation to this specific entity because from my recent research I have found it was the only religious institution that accepts Bitcoin. Yet, this might be not true as I am certain that I would be able to find other religious organizations that accept BTC donations. I have decided to make SUU the first recipient, to show that any religious institution regardless of the religious affiliation could request Bitcoin donations in correspondence to the traditional payment methods. The transaction illustrates my first Bitcoin donation (777 mBTC) in this blog! Because there are so many more organizations that accept Bitcoin than Dogecoin, I would focus my attention more on Bitcoin donations for now.
