Bitcoin Donations [Episode 4]

There is no doubt that I support donating Bitcoin to causes that have potential for a positive impact to a vast jurisdiction, perhaps on a global scale. To achieve this, I would have to donate to globally recognized INGOs (International Non-Government Organizations), for causes that I support which I view have a positive societal effect. On other instances, I have no problem contributing to lesser causes that only impact a specific group of people or specialized communities for a purpose to show that cryptocurrency donations could be applied to helping nearly anyone in need for financial contributions.

To accomplish my latter donation preference, I have decided to feature a non-profit organization that is based in Calgary, Canada, and reaches out to the women residing in Calgary. The organization is called Women’s Centre Of Calgary, which serves as an agency that provides various types of assistance, support, sense of community, and out-reach to any female who is a resident of Calgary. The Women’s Centre of Calgary was established in the 1970s and offers various services to assist women in services including but not limited to Referrals, Free Accomodations, Emergency Funds, Legal Counseling, Tax Preperation, Electronic Use, Trust-Based Peer Support, and many others! The organization functions under the Community Capacity Building Peer Model with a goal to assist women to obtain assistance, connections, and opportunities for change. To accomplish the goals, the Centre implements measures including work-shops and peer-to-peer counseling with an intention not only to help women in Calgary to achieve the positive change they need, but also to influence them to be capable in giving back to the society in the future as a result of their previous experiences.

It could be viewed that The Women’s Centre is an example of an organization that tries to serve as a form of community where people go to help and receive help. By contributing to the Centre, it could be acknowledged that there is nothing wrong in donating to random organizations that only function and impact within a particular jurisdiction. And, it could be okay for others to contribute to these organizations even if they have no particular association to that jurisdiction. By this, one is typically donating to the cause, mission, and impact that underlies the reason of the organization’s very existence. And in doing so, one is not interested whether or not this donation would help only one individual, a specific community, or hundreds of thousands of people, who are the donation’s recipients. The notion of donating to the Centre signifies that the donor is indirectly helping out the Calgary’s community. While this donation would not directly improve the well-being of any one particular resident of Calgary, it would yet enrich the agency that is striving to improve the well-being of the residents who reside in Calgary and need the assistance that the Centre offers.

So, why not benefit the city of Calgary? It seems like a pleasant city. I am certain that this Bitcoin donation would come in handy for the Women’s Centre Of Calgary to help women of Calgary. Registered & Protected UULV-YZTI-52O9-NUDC Copyright © 2018. All Rights Reserved. BESTradingBrokers
